Endow's Letter to Women Study
Endow’s Letter to Women StudyAll women are invited to join the St. James Mom’s Study Group as we unpack Pope St. John Paul II’s Letter to Women. We will gather two Wednesdays a month, from 12:30-2:30 p.m. in the St. James Church meeting room, starting on January 25th and ending on May 10th. Letter to Women is a pastoral letter that Pope St. John Paul II wrote to all women of the world in 1995, ahead of the Fourth World Conference on Women. We will be using the Endow (Educating on the Nature and Dignity of Women) study guide as we read through John Paul II’s beautiful teaching on the feminine genius. All women are welcome as we journey together. Join us for fellowship and a break in routine to learn alongside other women in our community.Cost is $20 USD for a digital copy or $40 USD for a hard copy. Winter Movie Night Fundraiser: Friday, February 10
Come and join us for a throwback movie: WALL-E (2008) on our big 16×9 Movie Screen on Friday, February 10th, in the school gym. Doors & Concession open at 5:30pm and the movie starts at 6:00pm.
$5 per person or $25 per family. An info package will be sent home at the end of January with all the details, including how you could win the VIP Package including the couch seating area!

Parent Participation Reminder
Thank you to the many parents who have updated their Parent Participation hours through the portal on the school’s website. Please note that 10 hours of Parent Participation must be completed by January 31st. For any families who are new to the school, please note that this does not apply to you.
There are some jobs where the work is sporadic, or may be concentrated in one part of the school year. If this is the case, and you know that you will be unable to complete your 10 hours by January 31st, please send an email to the Principal by clicking here. For those families who do not complete their hours and do not make contact with the school, your first direct debit payment of $200 will be processed on February 1st. Please note that these payments will not be prorated.

Homestay Opportunity
Homestay opportunity Feb 4-22. All female Japanese group. College age. On school days they need to be dropped and picked up from St. James Parish 8:30-3:00 for their English classes and outings (carpooling might be an option).Evenings and weekends they simply join your family for whatever you usually do.Single placement is 45$ per night (approx $800).If interested and wish more details please email Kate at kate.jane.ayre@gmail.com
