Thank You for a Wonderful Start to the School Year!We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our parents and families for joining us at our Back to School BBQ and Meet the Teacher Night. Your presence and enthusiasm made the evening such a warm and welcoming community event.
A very special thank you to the staff, REC members and volunteers who worked tirelessly with set up, cooking and serving food, childminding, and clean up!
It was wonderful to see families connecting, students sharing their excitement, and our school community coming together. Events like this truly help strengthen the bond between home and school, and we are grateful for your support in making it such a success!
We thank You for bringing us together as a school community.
Thank You for the gift of friendship, the joy of learning, and the support of families, staff, and friends.
Bless all who have helped make this gathering possible, and may the spirit of kindness and unity continue to grow among us.
Guide us in all we do, and help us always to reflect Your love in our words and actions. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Terry Fox Run - September 23
Terry Fox was a young Canadian athlete who lost his right leg to cancer when he was 18 years old. While recovering, he was inspired to help others facing cancer. In 1980, Terry began his Marathon of Hope — a cross-Canada run to raise money and awareness for cancer research.Terry ran an average of 42 km (a full marathon) every day for 143 days, covering more than 5,300 km, before his cancer returned and forced him to stop. He passed away in 1981 at the age of 22. Terry’s courage, determination, and hope continue to inspire millions of people around the world!
Join us for our Terry Fox Run!This year we will host a Terry Fox run in support of cancer research on Tuesday Sept 23.We will have a short but special assembly in the Gym at 1:00pm, followed by a 42min run/walk on our back field. We encourage each child to bring $2 or more to donate to the Terry Fox Foundation.Parents and siblings are welcome to join for the assembly and walk/run but please avoid using the playground until the run is over.
