  • Food Drive

We will be collecting non-perishable food items to support local families in need!

As we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving, our school community is invited to come together in the spirit of gratitude and generosity.  The Grade 7 Leadership Team has decided to hold a food drive for St. Joseph’s in Mission. This week, from October 6-9, your child is encouraged to bring a food item for the Food Drive.  Please do not bring anything perishable or that can be ripped open easily.  Any of these items below work well:

    • Canned meat or fish
    • Coffee/tea
    • Granola bars, dried/canned fruit
    • Soup
    • Personal hygiene items
    • Milk alternatives such as canned, powdered or almond milk
    • Canned beans or vegetables
    • Meals in a box such as pasta, rice or soup kits

Please see the attached flyer for details!    Food Drive Flyer

  • Workbee

The next Work Bee will take place at the school on Saturday, October 19, 2025.  It is delayed 1 week because of the Thanksgiving weekend.  This is a great way to earn five hours towards your Parent Participation commitment.  Hopefully the weather will be good, so please bring gloves for both indoor and outdoor work, as well as any small cordless garden tools that you have. We are very grateful for all of your hard work around the school!

  • Help Needed - Meal Train

    Meal Train Support

Our school community is coming together to support one of our families during a time of need. We are organizing a Meal Train to help provide home-cooked meals and show our care and compassion for the Hessels Family, as their mother recovers from surgery.

If you are able to contribute, please sign up through the Meal Train linkhttps://mealtrain.com/vdevlg

Thank you for considering this act of kindness. Your generosity will be a true blessing to this family and a beautiful example of our community living out our faith in action.

  • Panago Fundraiser

    Who likes pizza? Most kids!

And we of the PFA are glad to announce that we have partnered up with Panago to bring to you this fundraiser. For $14 you get a certificate that is good for any medium pizza. This includes any toppings or specialty pizzas, as long as it is medium sized. The best part, while the certificates are good for 90 days outside of Abbotsford, the local Panago will always honour the certificate!
