  • Good luck to Mrs. Dlugan & Welcome Mrs. Humphrey

Please join me in a moment of prayer and warm wishes for our secretary, Mrs. Dlugan, who will be temporarily off for a medical procedure. We send her our deepest hopes for a smooth and successful procedure and a speedy recovery.

During her absence, we are fortunate to welcome Mrs. Humphrey, who will be stepping in to support us. Let’s extend our warmest welcome to Mrs. Humphrey and offer our assistance as she settles into her new role.

Thank you for your understanding and support during this time. Together, we are a strong and caring community.

  • Food Drive for the Poor Clares ~ Oct. 3-13

Our school would like to welcome the new Sisters who are part of the Poor Clares, with a Thanksgiving Food Drive.  We are encouraging all students to bring in non-perishable items that are vegetarian, that we will bring to the Poor Clare Sisters.  If our students bring in 200 items, the school will have an extra recess and if we reach our goal of 300 items of food, we will also have a Dress Down Day.  Thank you in advance for helping with this important outreach initiative.

  • Thunder Community Meal Train - Volunteers needed!

Wouldn’t it be nice to offer support to a fellow Thunder family who is going through a challenging time? We would like to create a network of individuals who are interested in being on a meal train email list to support families throughout our school who may need a helping hand for one reason or another. If a request has been made, then those volunteers that have added their name to our list would receive an email asking them to sign up for a specific date to make and deliver a meal. Please note that this is not a parent participation activity, but just a nice gesture to provide support for other families in our school community. If you are interested in having your name added to our list, please email Tasha at community@stjameselementary.ca
