  • Care for Everyone in Our Common Home

Happy New Year to all of our families! May this year be filled with many blessings. I would like to comment on how impressed I was by the overwhelming support we had for our Christmas Giving Tree. The more we can encourage our children to adopt a spirit of giving the more we will align our actions to our goal of caring for everyone in our common home. And it is not just in giving material objects. We can give our time, our talents, our smiles, our kindness, our prayers, our forgiveness, our best effort, and so on. When we collectively give to others we know that the effects are always positive.

  • Workshop on Anxiety

Making Sense of Anxiety in Children and Youth

Dr. Gordon Neufeld sheds light on the problem of the escalating level of anxiety in our children, and paves the way for natural interventions to get to the root causes as opposed to just managing symptoms. Although the focus is on children, the material will benefit anyone suffering from anxiety.

St. Ann’s Family Group invites all parents and caregivers to this video course, facilitated by Kevin Bredeman, MA, on Thursdays, Jan. 11, 18, 25 and Feb. 1, from 7-9 p.m. at St. Ann’s Parish. Cost is $30/person. Register to reserve your spot. Childcare is available upon request for children 3+. For more details, e-mail stannsfamilygroup@gmail.com or visit rcav.org/event/making-sense-of-anxiety.
