  • First Holy Communion

After many months of preparation, the Grade Two class will receive their First Holy Communion this Saturday, May 24th. First Holy Communion is considered one of the holiest and most important occasions in our lives – it is a significant milestone in the life of a Catholic. It is the first time that we receive the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist, which is the eating of consecrated bread and drinking of consecrated wine. Everyone is excited about receiving this special gift from Jesus.

Please pray for our Grade 2 students…

“Dear Lord, we thank You and praise You for the most precious gift of the Holy Eucharist. We ask You to bless all those who are preparing to receive Your Body and Blood for the first time.  You have provided for us richly through the gift of Your Body and Blood in the Eucharist. Receiving the Holy Eucharist is a tremendous blessing, and we ask You to help the children to prepare well before receiving You.  Help them to continue to grow in love for You each day of their lives.   Amen”

  • School Mass - Wednesday, May 28th - Crowning of Mary

    Bring Flowers for Mary!

We will be having a very special school mass on this Wednesday, May 28th at St. James Church, led by our Kindergarten class.  We would ask all students who are able to bring some fresh cut flowers from their garden at home, to place in front of the statue of Mary at the Church.  On the morning on May 28th when the students arrive at school, the flowers will be placed in vases, which will be on tables in front of the office, that will be brought to the Church. Parents are most welcome to attend this Mass to help us show Mary how much we love her.
