Lenten Reflections
Journey with Jesus
Praying the Stations of the Cross with children is a beautiful way to help them walk with Jesus during the season of Lent. The Stations invite us to follow Jesus through His final hours—from His condemnation by Pontius Pilate to His burial in the tomb—through fourteen moments of His Passion. When children pray the Stations, they learn that this devotion is not only for adults but for the whole family. It helps them understand the depth of Jesus’s love and sacrifice in a gentle, meaningful way. By reflecting on each station together, children can begin to develop empathy, prayerfulness, and a deeper connection to their faith. The Stations teach them that Jesus understands our struggles and that His journey leads to hope through the joy of the Resurrection. Clink the following links to download:

During this holy season of Lent we gather as a family to walk with your Son through the Stations of the Cross. As we remember the suffering and love of Jesus Christ, open our hearts to understand His sacrifice and the great love He has for us.Help our family to pray with faith, to listen with open hearts, and to grow in kindness and compassion for one another. When we see Jesus fall, remind us to help those who are struggling. When we see His courage and forgiveness, teach us to forgive and love as He does.
Bless our family during this Lenten journey. May our prayers bring us closer to you and prepare our hearts for the joy of Easter.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
