  • End of Year Message

    Dear St. James Families,

The end of the school year is a great opportunity for reflection.  This year has been filled with growth, learning, and countless unforgettable memories.  We have come together as a community, supporting and inspiring one another every step of the way.

To our wonderful students, you have shown dedication and enthusiasm for learning. Your curiosity about the world around you have been truly inspiring. You have overcome challenges, discovered new talents, and demonstrated kindness and empathy toward your peers. Your many accomplishments have made us immensely proud.

We appreciate the invaluable support of our parents and guardians. Your involvement, encouragement, and partnership have played an instrumental role in the success of our students. Your trust in our school and dedication to their education is appreciated. Together, we have created a strong foundation for our children’s future.

Our remarkable staff members also deserve our deep gratitude. Your unwavering commitment to providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment is truly commendable. Your passion for education, creativity in the classroom, and tireless efforts have helped shape our students into confident and capable individuals. Thank you for going above and beyond every single day.

We encourage everyone to embrace the upcoming summer break as a time for rest, relaxation and, rejuvenation. Take the opportunity to explore new interests, spend quality time with loved ones, and create beautiful memories that will last a lifetime. May your summer be filled with joy, laughter, and adventure.

    Mr. Bittante & Ms. Lewis

“O God of all beginnings and endings, we praise and thank You for the gift of this school year. It has been a time filled with grace and blessings, with challenges and opportunities, joys and sorrows. The days have passed quickly, O Lord. The weeks, the months, the seasons, the holidays and holy days, the exams, vacations, breaks and assemblies, all have come forth from Your hand.

Give us the rest and refreshment we need this summer. Let our efforts of this past year bear fruit. Bring all of our plans to a joyful conclusion, and bless us, according to Your will.

Watch over us in the weeks of rest ahead and guide each day as You have done this past year. Help us return to school with a new spirit and a new energy. May we continue to grow in age, wisdom, knowledge and grace all the days of our lives.  Amen.”

  • School Office

The school office will be open the first week of July, with the exception of July 1st, which is Canada Day.  The office will be closed that day.  The office will remain open until Friday, July 4th, and will then be closed for the summer break.

  • Workbee

We will be moving our July 12 WorkBee to July 5, 2025.

The next Work Bee will take place at the school on Saturday, July 5th from 9:00am to 2:00pm. This is a great way to earn five hours towards your Parent Participation commitment.  Hopefully the weather will be good, so please bring gloves for both indoor and outdoor work, as well as any small cordless garden tools that you have. We are very grateful for all of your hard work around the school.
