Pick up and Drop off Lane Safety
Safe Driving in the School Pick-Up and Drop-Off Lane
We understand that families are busy and delays during drop off and pick up times can be frustrating. However, student safety is our top priority. We are continuing to experience concerns about driving in our school pick up / drop off lane.
Please ensure that you are following the guidelines below at all times.
Do not park or leave your car in the pick-up/drop-off lane.- Students must be able to enter and exit the vehicle independently.
- If you need to assist your child, please park your car in the parent parking lot.
- Drive slowly and carefully at all times in the lane.
- Be alert—students may be walking near or through the area.
- If your child is not ready during pick-up, you may be asked to drive on and circle the block so traffic can continue moving.
- If delays occur, please be patient.
- Absolutely no passing!!! Young children may be present, and we must ensure the safety of students and staff at all times.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our school community safe.
