  • 1st Day of School Assembly

We have made a slight change to the start time. The assembly will begin at 8:45 am. There will be coffee and snacks available for parents. We welcome all parents to stay for the assembly. Remember that school is out at 11:30am on the first day of school!

  • New Parking Procedure

Hopefully all of you received your mailout package from the school. If not, here is a quick summary:

The lane in front of the church is a one way lane for drop off and pick up. Enter off of Townline Rd and exit onto Gardner by the gate closer to the church. The entrance to the main parking lot is still the far gate close to the big white garage. Please be respectful of the staff who will be directing traffic. Student safety is our primary concern. We will review the parking procedures at Meet the Teacher Night.

  • New Morning Procedure

We will be instituting a new warning bell that will go off at 8:25am. This bell is to signal to students to line up and get ready to enter the school and their classroom. This will allow us to start our day at 8:30am. We strongly encourage parents to drop off students at school for 8:15am.

  • Noon Prayer Procedure

If you are in our school around noon you will notice that the entire school will enter into prayer. Prayer will be read over the PA system by students. All staff, students, parents, and guests are expected to show reverence and respect during our prayer time. This means no talking and no moving. We thank you for your cooperation in creating a prayerful atmosphere.

  • Heat Wave!

We are expecting quite a heat wave for next week. Since we do not have air conditioning and the comfort of our students is important, we decided to give special permission for students to have the option of wearing their PE Strips during the entire school day for next week with the exception of Wednesday morning. On Wednesday morning we have our first school mass, in an air conditioned church, and we would like students to be in proper uniform for the mass. However, after mass, students may change into their PE strips under the direction of their classroom teachers. Students are also strongly encouraged to bring water bottles to stay hydrated during the day!
