  • Care for Everyone in Our Common Home

This past week our Gr. 1 class led our school in an assembly. The students performed the story of You Are Special by Max Lucado. I have to say I was very impressed by our Gr. 1 students and Mrs. Gaudet because they beautifully captured the meaning of the story. For those who may not know, the story essentially delivers the message that we all have dignity and worth because God made us. Our worth as humans has nothing to do with test scores, with athletic ability, with the clothes we wear, with the amount of friends we have or do not have, or any other human created measure. Because God made each of us we already have immense value and that value can never be diminished. The challenge of course is to live our lives according to that understanding. I want to thank the Gr. 1 class for reminding our school community that we need to appreciate the incredible worth of each person.

  • Movie Night Thank You

Thank you to the PFA for organizing the Movie Night. There is always a crew of parents here during the day making popcorn and setting up the gym. And then there are parents who stay after to help clean up. I want to thank all of our parent volunteers and the staff who was able to stay, for giving their time to our school events. Without the spirit of volunteerism our Catholic schools would not be able to survive. So again, my thanks to all of our volunteers.

  • Thunder Club Donations
